Being surrounded by thousands of fish is something that becomes normal in the Galapagos Islands. Subterranean currents that come from the depths carry large amounts of plankton to the surface, where the fish enjoy abundant food. The peculiar situation of these islands in the middle of the great Pacific Ocean makes it a focus of congregation of a large amount of biomass.
