Being surrounded by five, seven or ten sea turtles grazing peacefully without being too upset by your presence, is something that in these seas of Galapagos is nothing out of the ordinary. If they flee, it is because they are affected by your presence or they are scared of your size that suddenly appears behind a rock. But it is certainly because they feel threatened. In the southern part of the islands, where the dominant wind usually arrives, we can find these sea turtles under the waves without appearing to care too much. This generates a beautiful landscape that mixes the tranquility of the sea turtle with the dynamism of the waves.
