Artist's Description

One of the reasons why a diver wants to dive into the waters of the Galapagos Islands and more specifically on the coast of Darwin Island and the Darwin Arch, without a doubt, is to enjoy the encounter with the great whale shark . Because it is in these waters, in the right season, where we can see several females of the biggest fish in the world. And as with most sharks, the female outnumbers the male. So if you like to swim with large pelagics, this is one of the places to do it. In the expedition we had several meetings and all were with specimens between 14 and 18 meters. An experience not comparable with others. I had already swum several times with the whale shark, but never, nor closely, with a similar size.
